Kicking off the first night of Sounds of the City festival is D.C. Music Industry Night, where D.C. musicians, venue owners, studio owners, label heads, bloggers, photographers, entrepreneurs and more creatives in the music scene can connect, drink together and exchange ideas.

The event will also feature a panel discussion where key local influencers will weigh in on the current state of D.C. music. Specifically, we’ll touch on questions like: Who are the key organizations, venues and musicians that are helping to make an impact in D.C.? What are some of the current issues D.C. musicians and industry professionals currently face?
