National Gallery of Art’s Free After Hours Event Returns This Thursday

After introducing the event last year, the National Gallery of Art is bringing back its free after hours series Evenings at the Edge starting this Thursday. Between 6 p.m.-9 p.m., the museum will open its doors late for guests to explore the galleries and catch live music, experimental short films, and short art discussions. For

The first show of the year will feature Grammy-nominated D.C. hip hop artist Christylez Bacon, known for his diverse collaborations and progressive approach to music. He’ll perform alongside Nistha Raj, another D.C.-based artist that fuses classical Hindustani music with contemporary genres.

While Evenings at the Edge is free, you still have to RSVP via Eventbrite to reserve your spot. If you can’t make this Thursday’s show, the event will be back on January 11, March 8, and May 10.
