Announcing: DCMD Presents D.C. Music Industry Night
We're Back for Round 2 of D.C. Music Industry Night
Back in March we introduced a new networking and panel series called D.C. Music Industry Night. After a very successful–and sold out–first event, we’re stoked to bring it back in August.
Set at one of Petworth’s best spots for live music and good vibes–Ten Tigers Parlour—D.C. Music Industry Night is where musicians, venue owners, studio owners, label heads, bloggers, photographers, entrepreneurs and more creatives in the music scene can connect, drink together and exchange ideas.
Kicking off the evening is the panel discussion Race and Music in D.C., featuring six local music influencers weighing in on the topic. The conversation will be centered on racial barriers in the community as it relates to securing opportunities (booking shows, projects and other works,) coverage in local and national entertainment outlets and more.
D.C. Music Industry Night is free with an RSVP, and space is limited. We’ll also have exclusive happy hour deals going on all evening too, so come to Ten Tigers, grab some drinks and meet other creatives in the city.
Save the date via Facebook and stay up-to-date on the latest.
Special shout out to our partners, Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center.
