Mark Your Calendar: DCMD Presents Flasher at the Smithsonian American Art Museum

Since releasing their excellent debut record last April, D.C. trio Flasher has cemented their place in the music scene as one of the area’s most-promising bands. Their expansive, evocative sound draws from a hearty cocktail of influences, stemming from their experiences performing with other notable area bands like Priests, Trouble, Bless, and Big Hush. While prolific musicians in their own right, Taylor Mulitz, Daniel Saperstein and Emma Baker collectively create musical bliss with Flasher, and we’re stoked to have them perform a special intimate set at the Smithsonian American Art Museum!
Make sure to mark your calendar for Thursday, June 22. Flasher will play at 6 p.m., and before the show (at 5:30 p.m.) there’ll be a discussion centered on a piece of artwork chosen by the band. As always, the show is free and all-ages.
