Fort Reno’s Summer Concert Series is in Need of Donations

Fort Reno

Organizers of summer concert series Fort Reno have relied heavily on donations to keep the event going. In years past, Fort Reno has seen its share of hardships over the lack of funding. But in a recent letter posted to Fort Reno’s official website, lead organizer Amanda MacKaye is hoping to raise enough funds to make this year’s, and potentially next year’s, concert series a reality.

“The 2016 season went very well by all accounts. However, when all was said and done, we didn’t raise the funds we hoped we would,” she writes. “To put on eight shows this summer we will need at least $6,000 to cover expenses and retain a small seed for next year.”

If you’re interested in making a donation, you can send money to Fort Reno’s fiscal sponsor, the Washington Peace Center. All contributions are tax deducible, but the most important thing is that you’ll be helping out a great cause. Cheers to another year of Fort Reno (hopefully)!
