Next Week: DCMD Presents a Free Show at the Smithsonian American Art Museum Featuring brushes

By Stephanie Williams | News

Good news–D.C. Music Download is returning to the Smithsonian American Art Museum this year to co-present the D.C. music series Luce Unplugged!

Bringing their emotive rock offerings to the museum on Thursday, Feb 23 is brushes, who released some of the best music to come from the District last year. The band will perform a free show at the gorgeous Luce Foundation Center starting at 6 p.m., and it’s free to get in! Prior to the show, there’ll be a staff-led discussion at 5:30 p.m. centered on a piece of artwork chosen by brushes.

Make sure to also bring cash if you’re looking to drink! There’ll be a bar onsite serving light food, wine and beer.

You can RSVP to the show here. See you there!
