With footage of soldiers marching forth into an unknown psychedelic landscape, the video for D.C. band Dawkins‘ track “Bad Faith” perfectly captures the quintet’s airy aesthetic. Dawkins creates a unique atmosphere by blending a tripped-out beat with spacey synths and a healthy portion of reverb.
With flavors of hip-hop and synth-pop, the song proves a welcome addition to D.C.’s experimental music scene. The group is expected to do big things in the coming months, and if the video for “Bad Faith” is any indication, it would be a good idea to stay tuned.
