Damaged City Fest Returns in 2017, Unveils First Big Wave of Bands
Damaged City Fest, one of the country’s largest punk and hardcore music festivals, is set to come back for its fifth year next April. During its time, Damaged City Fest has grown from a small two-day festival at St. Stephen’s Church to a massive four-day event that stretches multiple venues around town. Last year’s festival also debuted Damaged City Fest’s first art exhibition, pointing to the fact that the show has turned into more than just a music festival, but a highly sought-after cultural event.
Bands from all over the world will perform at Damaged City Fest, scheduled for April 6-9. The first wave of acts announced today include Texas punk rockers The Marked Men, Maryland hardcore stalwarts Angel Dust, D.C.’s own Red Death, New York hardcore punk act Krimewatch, California band Fury and 16 more bands who’ll play in April.
Other pertinent info like venues, show times and tickets will be announced at a later date. Check out the full list of bands that were announced today.
