Watch: Tigers Are Bad For Horses Perform Their New Song, “Tinder Date,” at “Live at House”
While on a songwriting hiatus this summer in Chicago, Mary Ellen Funke and Lyell Evans Roeder of D.C. synth-pop group Tigers Are Bad For Horses decided to try out Tinder as a way to meet new people. While on the dating app, the duo encountered their share of interesting people who inspired their latest song “Tinder Date,” an honest yet fun illustration of the woes of online dating.
Shortly after their trip, the band made their way to House Studio, where they performed at our last Live at House show of the year. We got to hear a bunch of new songs from Tigers Are Bad for Horses that included “Tinder Date,” which we’re premiering today on DCMD! Watch it here, and we’ll see you next year for season two of Live at House.
