Discover: Navigable Darkness by The Echo Wall

Published On January 18, 2013 | By Stephanie Williams | Albums

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that listening to Navigable Darkness was the first time I’ve heard The Echo Wall’s music, but as they say-better late than never. Their lush folk offerings on their forthcoming release (due February 1st) are well produced, and the best part about it is the fact that each instrument is allowed to shine throughout all the tracks. Between the violin, a  glockenspiel, ukulele, drums, bass, guitar and a host of other instruments, each song on the EP provides a full and rich sound that harmoniously ties the release together. They’ll be celebrating their new EP at Bellflur’s album release show at Strathmore-which seems to be shaping up as a unique concert experience worth making the trip out for.
