On Saturday, May 5th, DMD along with our concert group headed out to U St Music Hall to ring in Cinco de Mayo the best way we knew how: a six-hour DJ set by D.C. based trio Volta Bureau. The group, comprised of Will Eastman, Outputmessage (Bernard Farley) and Micah Vellian (Miguel Lacsamana), didn’t show any signs of fatigue as they powered their way through a wide range of dance hits-and neither did the crowd. Even as the night hit close to the 2am mark, more people continued to file in to witness the true entities of what makes the U Hall the premiere location for electronic music.
